What was the holocaust?

What was the Holocaust? the short answer is it was the most vulgar historical event we currently know of. But lets look into it with more depth. The holocaust started in 1933 and ended in 1945 with the murder of almost 6 million Jews, many of which were innocent women and children. Adolf Hitler was the face of the holocaust and one of the most vile people who’s ever lived. During the holocaust the Nazis came up with evil, hellish ways to torture and kill the Jews, including concentration camps where they’d use poisonous gas to kill the jews they held captive.

You might be wondering at this point what was their obsession with Jews, and why did they hate them so much? The answer to this question isn’t completely understood, but our best explanation is they thought the only way for the Aryan race was to take out their biggest enemy which at that time was the jews. They credited the jews with creating everything they hate like communism capitalism Judaism and Christianity. Whilst Adolf Hitler hated Christianity and wanted to bring Germany back to their early pagan traditions most German Christians didn’t hate Hitler. In fact killing jews was ultimately more important to Hitler then winning the war was. In all honesty nobody knows the complete reason Hitler hated jews so much but the holocaust is widely accepted as the most terrible event in history.
